The Veil Nebula....i've seen some of this in an 8" scope with a focal reducer making it f(5).... should be visible in any 8"...not sure about anything smaller Posted by Picasa

The Crab Nebula...remant of a supernova explosion...1054 a.d i believe....visible in any small telescope Posted by Picasa

The Lagoon (LL) and Trifid Nebulas (UR). Very prominent in the summer night sky, these 2 nebulas can be distinguished markedly in any small telescope and also seen with the naked eye. Posted by Picasa
